Zwei Jahre nach der Veröffentlichung ihres dritten Albums „Dreamland“ veröffentlicht die britische Band Glass Animals mit „Dreamland: Real Life Edition“ am 5. August eine Neuauflage des Albums als Deluxe CD und als „Glow In The Dark“ Vinyl mit dem Original Tracklisting. Die Deluxe CD umfasst 25 Tracks und enthält zahlreiche Remixe, Acoustic Versionen und Bonustracks sowie Kollaborationen mit Arlo Parks, Denzel Curry, Albert Hammond Jr, Bree Runway und Diplo. Mit dabei ist natürlich auch ihr bisher größter Hit „Heat Waves“, mit dem die Band seit 2 Jahren Geschichte geschrieben hat und immer noch schreibt: Weltweit über 45 Platin-Auszeichnungen (Deutschland Doppelplatin), Platz 2 der deutschen Singlecharts, Platz 1 der US Charts (dort auch der erfolgreichste Song einer britischen Band seit „Wannabe“ der Spice Girls), Nominierungen bei sämtlichen Awards (u.a. Grammy-Nominierung als „Best New Artist“ und eine Brit Award-Nominierung als „Song Of The Year“ und „Best Rock/Alternative Act“) und Lobpreisungen ohne Ende. We did that and it was absolutely wicked, but I still feel like we missed out on the IRL stuff. So, we thought we’d just have another go of it.
